Seedlings in doubt

I have a few seeds in Biodegradable pots but they do not seem to be growing, germination of the same seeds in different containers has been almost 100% successful! In fact i cannot think of a seedling which i have transplanted from the bio pots yet - or anything of any real promise.

You can see the Chives sprouting but nothing else
Seedlings

Maybe it was there location on the window sill so i have moved them now into a vegetable tray to see how they do this week, if nothing seems promising i am going to remove the seeds (big ones like corn) and try them in a different container.

Moved my Seedlings to the tray

You can see my bio pots and my plastic cups of which neither have been overly successful yet - make that even REMOTELY successful.

More Vegetable Containers

On the positive, my carrots are looking good :)

Small Space Vegetable Garden

I like to think i have dedicated a nice amount of room to my Vegetable Container Venture, but when i stand back and look at it, it looks rather.... insignificant. BUT, humble beginnings can soon grow into much much more, and, if all of my small seedlings take when transplanted i will actually have quite a lot more pots growing vegetables - way more than i anticipated or even need.

My Humble Beginning

My recently planted Beans and Peppers are doing really well so far;

Jack and the Various Beanstalks

Pepper and Bean

I must admit that thus far i much prefer starting my seeds in slightly larger pots as opposed to the biodegradable pots or seedlings trays - i have had much more luck with this so far and think i will continue to scavenge these pots to be using in future.

My New Container Vegetable Planter

I came across an old Vegetable transit case and thought i would use it to plant some more vegetables. Bizarrely everything which can be filled is a target for me and my soil and seeds.

Here it is;

My New Planter

I covered the wholes with bin bag to stop to much moisture loss and soil leakage, there are still 6 small holes on the bottom for drainage.

I have it split in to 3 sections from left to right, Lettuce, Chilli and more Tomato. If the container is good i will likely leave the lettuce in there and add some more varieties or use it from 1 or 2 tomato plants.
